Questions

Answers before you ask

Phrazl is not open yet, so any price, trial or plan named in these answers is planned rather than on sale.

Can I use Phrazl today?

Not yet. Phrazl is in build and the waitlist is how you hear when the first trip packs open. Leave the destination you have booked and we will know which languages people are waiting on.

What will it cost?

A trip pack is a one-time purchase through Stripe: 9.99 dollars for a single destination with up to three scenarios, or 19.99 dollars for the full bundle. A returning-traveller discount is applied at checkout when you buy a second destination.

Which languages are covered?

Ten: Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Thai, Greek, and Dutch. Languages beyond those ten are not part of this build.

Is there any way to try it before paying?

Yes. The first twenty phrases of your set are free, and the payment gate sits after that preview rather than before it.

Are there streaks, XP, or daily reminders?

No. Progress is one bar labelled as curriculum coverage completed. It measures how much of your phrase set you have worked through, and it is not a prediction that you will be understood on the day.

What is the emergency scenario, exactly?

It is a phrase set for situations where you need to make yourself understood quickly. It is made for general communication practice only and is not a substitute for contacting local emergency services or a qualified interpreter, and that line appears on the selection screen and in the terms of service.

Is this an iPhone app?

It is a mobile-first web app you open in a browser. Native app store builds, push notifications, and offline downloadable packs are not part of this build, so plan on having a connection while you study.

Will I be able to see what I have bought?

Yes. An account screen lists the trip packs you own, which is also where the returning-traveller discount becomes useful when the next country is booked.
