Your account screen: the trip packs you own and what you paid
Your account screen is the one place in Phrazl that lists the trip packs you own, with what each one cost. This article shows you how to open it, how to read the list, and what to do if a purchase you made is not on it.
What this screen is for
Phrazl sells trip packs as one-time purchases, not a subscription, so there is no billing cycle to manage and nothing to cancel. What you do occasionally need is proof of what you own: which destination the pack was bought for, how much it cost, and whether your next destination is already discounted.
That is the account screen. It lists your owned trip packs alongside the account itself, and it is where you go when you are about to buy a second destination, when a purchase does not look like it landed, or when you want your data out of the product.
Reading your purchase history, step by step
- Sign in with your email and password
Purchases are attached to the account that made them, so the history only appears once you are signed in. Phrazl signs you in with an email address and a password, nothing else.
- Open your account screen
From the signed-in app, go to your account screen. This is the account and purchase history view, separate from any individual trip.
- Read the list of trip packs you own
Each entry is a trip pack you have bought, with the amount paid. A Trip pack at £6.99 covers one destination and up to three of the five scenarios. A Full bundle at £16.99 covers all ten languages and all five scenarios.
- Check your returning traveller discount
If you already own a trip pack, the returning traveller discount is applied at checkout for a second destination: £3 off, so the next pack is £3.99. Worth knowing before you set up that second trip.
- Take a copy of your data if you want one
The same screen downloads a JSON file of everything held about you: your account details, your trips, your review history and your purchase records.
- Send a support request if something is wrong
Support requests go from this screen, and you can also email support@phrazl.com. Every message lands in the support desk.
What each purchase gives you
| Pack | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Free preview | Free | The first 20 phrases of one trip you set up. Not a purchase, so it does not appear in your history. |
| Trip pack | £6.99 once | One destination, up to 3 of 5 scenarios, 200 to 300 phrases. Plus £3 off your next destination. |
| Full bundle | £16.99 once | All 10 languages, all 5 scenarios, up to 400 phrases per destination, and new trips with no further purchase. |
If a purchase is not showing
First, check you are signed in on the account that paid. Packs are held against one account, and an email address you used on a second signup is a different account.
If you are on the right account and a pack you paid for is still not listed, send a support request from the account screen or email support@phrazl.com. Say which destination you bought and roughly when. Phrazl holds a purchase record for each pack, with the Stripe checkout session and payment intent ids, the amount and the status, and that is what the team reads to put it right. Stripe keeps its own payment records as required by law.
Where to go next
If what you actually want is your phrases rather than your receipts, the trip screens are the place: see the help articles on setting up a trip, on how your phrase set is ordered, and on how the review schedule compresses as your departure gets closer.
Questions
Does the account screen show my learning progress?
No. It shows the trip packs you own and what they cost. Curriculum coverage, the trip readiness bar with no streaks and no XP, sits on the trip itself.
Why is my purchase list empty?
Most often because you have only used the free preview, which gives you the first 20 phrases of one trip at no cost and so creates no purchase. If you did pay and the pack is not listed, check you are signed in on the account that paid, then send a support request.
Do I have to buy again for a second destination?
With a Trip pack, yes, but the returning traveller discount is applied at checkout for a second destination: £3 off, so the next pack is £3.99. With the Full bundle you can set up new trips with no further purchase.
Will Phrazl email me a receipt?
The purchase record lives on your account screen, and Stripe retains its own payment records as required by law. The only email Phrazl itself sends is a password reset when you ask for one.
Can I buy a trip pack from outside the United Kingdom?
Purchases are open to customers in the United Kingdom for now. Stripe takes the card payment and collects your billing address to work out UK VAT.
Can I delete my account from this screen?
Yes. Type your email to confirm, and the account, trips, review history, purchase records, support requests and paywall answers go in one transaction. Download the JSON file of your data first if you want to keep it. A single trip and its review history can be deleted from that trip's edit screen instead.
Is there a subscription to cancel?
No. Trip packs are one-time purchases at £6.99 and £16.99, so there is no renewal date and nothing to turn off.
